It’s that time of year again – May Balls, hayfever, anticipation for the Tour de France (and possibly Wimbledon!) and, of course, Cambridge Open Studios!

This year, our Coleridge Art Trail has expanded to become the Romsey & Coleridge Art Trail, with all 19 artists in the area taking part. There are Trail leaflets with a great map available in all the usual places down Mill Road and Cherry Hinton Road. You can also download the PDF at camopenstudios.org/july-open-studios where you can also download the Open Studios app.
I’ve got lots of new paintings to show you at my Open Studios – I’ve been working on my Colleges Project. I’ve now only got ten more to go! There’s also an (unseasonal!) painting of Fen skaters that I have just finished, and some paintings I did in Croatia in May. (There’s a sneak peek of one of my new paintings at the top of this email.)
And of course there’ll be refreshments, our garden with frogs, look books of all my work, cards, gifts and PLENTY OF CHAT! And, as ever, if you have young artists with you, please encourage them to bring some work in to show me. I love chatting art with people on my level.
