I was asked to paint a picture of the Pickerel pub in Cambridge for someone who used to visit it over 60 years ago. He now lives in Edinburgh, but wanted it as a memento of his time in Cambridge. All he specified was that it needed to be the view from the bridge, with the pub visible.
