My first Cambridge Open Studios experience was fantastic! I loved chatting to so many people about tips and techniques, and loved getting feedback about what my work means to other people. It’s a very special privilege to have that kind of feedback. I’m definitely planning to open again next year!
The Cambridge Magazine picked me out as one of their three highlights – “Fun, quirky, and VERY Cambridge”
Here I am on Cambridge 105 talking about my work and my story (go to 1hr 38mins)
One highlight was a visit from a 5 year old neighbour, Jackson. He was apparently inspired by what he saw, and came back later in the day with a trayful of art that he had created to show me. I asked him whether I could display his work for all my visitors to see (strictly against Open Studios rules!), and he made me a sign to go with his exhibition.
